At the end of one of the hardest fought and longest Presidential campaigns in recent history, I have to say that there have been the best and worst from both sides.
Here are the best and worst, in my opinion, from both the BHO and McCain campaigns:
First the probable winner, BHO's best and worst events of the 2008 Presidential campaign:
The best was when BHO defeated Hillary at her own game. Truly an unbelievable feat.
The worse was when BHO told "Joe the Plumber" that he favored "sharing the wealth..."
From McCain, the probable loser, are his best and worst events of the 2008 Presidential campaign:
The best was when McCain chose Gov. Sarah Palin as a running mate: bold & "out of the box"
The worse was when McCain votes for the ESA 2008 bill: it lost him the election
You have your own best and worst, but I believe these where the defining moments that may have tilted the election towards or against the perpetrator.
The best and worse events of the election process itself were:
The best was the fact that Presidents are limited to 2 terms so Bush 43 couldn't run again
The worse was the "political going-over" that Samuel Joe Wurzelbacher got by both the media and his own elected state officials for just asking a question of the media-protected BHO.
The treatment of Joe should send chills down the spine of every American citizen since it shows to what extent the media and liberal/democratic machine will go to discredit any detractors. Even those that are for BHO should think hard since remember every political concept is a 2-edged sword and can be just as easily turned on the user when they are no longer in power.
Freedom and liberty is not just a conservative concept, but can be taken from both the liberal and conservative. Just do your history homework on Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, and Ilg's North Korea. The started with just the detractors of the current policy and then spread to all that were not part of the controlling party in power.
