USA past and future, the change-is-a-coming...

American's that do not like the idea of "sharing the wealth" are now selfish according to the next President-elect, BHO. He has now said that anyone that is against "spreading the wealth" is making a

"VIRTUE OUT OF SELFISHNESS" (BHO's words - see YouTube clip)

So the Democratic VP nominee, Joe Biden, says that its our patriotic duty to pay taxes, and BHO says that if don't want to share the wealth, we are selfish. Man, these politicians just don't understand on what this country was built.

The USA of the past was built on hard work, making your own opportunity, more hard work, finding ways around the word "no", and building your future with hard work and innovation.

OK, so what is the USA of the future going to be built on? If the Democrats have their way, according to the latest Gallup polls, 78% say that "sharing the wealth" is the way to handle the economy, and 58% say that the income in the USA needs to be more evenly distributed.

I have 2 insights for you?

If redistribution of wealth is the way to grown an economy, why aren't the countries that practice this economic principle (Sweden, UK, France, Venezuela, Denmark, Canada, etc) the top economic powerhouses of the world's GDP?

What is the incentive or motivation for hard work if you just get it taken away and given to those that do not innovation or produce?

Your answers to these questions if you are honest will tell you directly why socialism and its more austere cousin, communism, do not work and eventually go out of business like the USSR, and why countries who practice it don't find their economies or populations innovating, but instead stagnating and just getting by.

Makes no sense to me, but the USA is going to find out when on Nov. 4, 2008, they elect BHO and his SMDC. America will not survive that onslaught of social re-engineering.
