The US is more divided than ever

The country is moving towards a future revolution that can be seen by analyzing the 1992-2008 electoral maps of states for each party and the number and placement of those states.

The site shows that since the 1992 election, the country is becoming more and more divided with the 2008 showing the stark reality that to win a Presidential election with large numbers, the coasts are the only places needed to win while the "fly over zone" as the Mid-West is called is largely not needed.

 

BHO took 360 electoral votes with the major coastal states while McCain took the rest and only achieved 174 votes. An election could be won with only winning about 10-12 states (CA,OR,WA,NY,OH,PA,NJ,FL,VA,NC,MI,IL) leaving the rest of the 38-40 states out in the cold.

 

This is causing the progressive, liberal agenda of the coasts to be impressed upon the central part of the country where there is more traditional values and lifestyles. As the coasts become more and more shrill like the protests and riots that are taking place in California when the people decided to change the state's constitution to protect traditional marriages, the courts appear to be ready to overturn the will of the people for the 3rd time.

 

This is the course that the liberal/Democrats will take as the people's will can be controlled and overturned by a few liberal jurists. While the revolution will not take place in California, other states are watching how activists jurists are overstepping their bounds and nullifying the will of the people.

 

Had the vote gone their way, the Prop 8 proponents would have hailed it as a great victory for the people of California. When it did not, they turned to their liberal ally: the liberal courts of California.

 

This will be the oil that will ultimately ignite a revolution in this country over values, taxes, property rights, government intervention, and educational direction. BHO's presidency could and probably will be the instrument that leads to this revolution as he will push his leftist/socialist agenda too fast for the rest of the country which will push back if there is any character left in America.

 

Don't hold your breath. It may take pictures of US troops coming to houses to collect guns and ammunition before the revolution gets started.

 

Pelosi picks Barney to write auto bail-out bill

The Dems are just making this too easy!

 

Speaker Pelosi (CA-D) just announced that she will be picking Rep. Barney Frank (MA-D) to write the new bail-out plan for the auto industry!!! Unbelievable!

 

Barney Frank, excuse me, Rep. Barney Frank was the one that took over $60,000 from the GSE (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) before he said on national TV that they were fine and a solid investment in 2005! He also blocked the oversight legislation through maneuvering in the House that would have put the GSEs on a shorter leash.

 

Interestingly, this legislation was offered by Senator John McCain, and here you have the Congressman that was one of the major architects of this financial crisis now doing the auto industry bail-out bill to pay back his union supports.

 

Again, the liberal/Democrats are showing they are not better than the Republicans. As someone very wise and forthright said recently:

 

A POX ON BOTH YOUR HOUSES!

More on AmEx hypocrisy and Dems will blame others

More updates on the banks and credit card companies that have received tax payer monies while raising interest rates on their customers.

 

Well, its official, American Express is sending out notices that everyone's interest rates are going up and are even going to retroactive on existing balances to over 14% while they are allowed to send their losses to the tax payer via the Treasury and become a holding company so they can get out of paying some of their debts. This company is the epitome of the LOUC of the government action.

 

The government bails out American Express with our money instead of letting them go under as their poor management and performance should have done, and then allowing them to put some of their customers into forced bankruptcy by raising their consumer debt retroactively. What a "turn around is NOT fair play!"

 

This is how the government intervention causes LOUC (law of unintended consequences) to occur when they do A and get B instead. The government can not be trusted when either in the Republican or Democrat is in control the White House and/or Congress. It does not matter. They are very much the same.

 

Even the failing oil prices are not going to change things since every one is getting told the economy is going to hell and have been told this for over 2 years by the Democrats were trying to gain the White House. Well they did, and now they are facing their worse nightmare:

 

THEY WON, AND NOW THEY HAVE TO PERFORM!

 

I am sure when they fail, they are going to blame on everyone else than themselves as they normally did and do. Remember they blamed Bush-43 for the 2000 recession when it started on Bill Clinton's watch in March of 2000 almost 10 months before Bush-43 took office.

 

When this economy continues to tank and is made worse by the Dems in both White House and Congress, they are going to blame it on Bush-43 as it started under his watch. It's his fault. Just be ready to hear it soon.

 

No, BHO & Congress will sink this economy

I take it back, BHO and his Congress (Pelosi/Reid) ARE going to make the financial crisis worse. Just listening to Speaker Pelosi talk about bailing out this industry and that industry is just silly, and also, she is saying that we don't need to support or allow off-shore drilling now that oil is < $65/barrel!!!!

 

What a nit! Pelosi is going to dray BHO and his legacy into the history books as another Hoover and FDR beginning the next big depression. Bowing to his supporters: labor (unions, education, government, etc.), old age (AARP), and others will make BHO do things that are just going to sink this already unstable economy into fits of depression (pun intended).

 

I don't think he will be able to stop these people that are going to demand satisfaction for supporting "the one." He tried tell everyone he was taking contributions from small investors via the untraceable Internet so he would not be owing them anything once he won the election.

 

Well, he did, and now he does! It's the same old Washington politics all over since those that supported him are the same old Washington political operators and they know how to play this game and are going to keep it going as long as possible.

 

BHO and Congress could make crisis worse

Here is the next shoe to drop on creating the next Depression. It is now the American labor unions that are asking BHO when he takes office to reduce free trade and raise international tariffs and fees. This is exactly what Herbert Hoover did with the Smoot-Hawley Act in 1930 even though President Hoover did not want to sign the bill and over 1028 economists wrote to Hoover and pleaded with him not to sign the bill.

Hoover did however, and the global trade market almost dropped by 25% over the next 3-5 years. Canada, the UK, and many European countries retaliated by raising their tariffs on American goods taking the world into a trade blockage war.

If things all come together we could have a similar situation with BHO having to payback the unions for their support in his successful campaign. While this will not do exactly the same thing as it did in 1930, it could severely impact trade around the world in an already unstable global economic picture.

Tread carefully, BHO and Congress, your next acts could make this financial situation worse.

What am I saying??? I expect them to do the wrong thing and to make it worse. It's almost inevitable.

Banks & credit card companies to raise rates HIGH!

Another stupid move coming by American banks is about to make its way into your homes forcing more and more Americans into financial problems. It is now understood that many banks and credit card companies are going to raise interest rates even when the Fed has lowered rates to 1% which has lowered prime rate in order to make more money.

 

However, these interest hikes on those that are paying their bills and making it are going to be thrown into financial default thereby causing a huge increase in credit card failures and possible bankruptcies where the banks are not likely to get anything from those that they throw into this perdicerment. Very strange.

 

Now the little disclosure that will make your blood boil: these are the very same banks that received a government bail-out using your tax payer money so you are effectively paying to have these banks raise your interest rates and cause defaults.

 

HA! This is America for you.

NY Senator Schumer calls for Global Regulator

Liberal/Democrats are taking their agenda to the next level as Senator Chuck Schumer (NY-D) talks about the need for permanent regulation changes on the US financial markets and institutions.

 

While talking about this today as his press conference, Senator Schumer let slip that he also thinks that a what is needed is a:

 

GLOBAL FINANCIAL REGULATOR!!!

 

Wow! I thought it would take at least some time before the liberal/Democrats stated talking about the need for global intervention, but here is Senator Schumer talking about the first step in true globalization: putting the US financial markets under the scrutiny of an international regulator.

 

This is the beginning of the blunting of US sovereignty that the BHO and his Congress will add to by:

 

1. Ratifying the global warming treaties defeated by previous Senates
2. Moving to put US military resources under UN control
3. Ratifying the oversight of the UN War Crimes Tribunal
4. Allowing International courts and laws to adjudicate US cases & citizens
5. Supporting increased NAFTA regulations and trade intervention

 

All these will have a chilling impact on whom and what US citizens are beholding to when it comes to legal, financial, military, and trade related operations. The liberal/Democrats are truly trying to move towards a one world centralized political formation.

 

 

Outlook for the market for Nov-Dec 2008

The outlook for the markets appears to be that it will stay within a trading range of SP 500 825-1000 for the foreseeable future since it would appear that the economy is not going to improve in the near term.

 

Nothing that BHO is talking about will help and in a lot of cases, it will hurt and keep the market from recovering before all the stimulation has an impact and that begins the inflationary results of the over $2.5 Trillion USD liquidity that the US Government has flooded the market.

 

Once the banks begin loaning again, they are going to flood the market with loans and funds and the next bubble is going to take off on the heels of the last one since that amount of money does not good being hoarded for too long.

 

The hedge funds, banks, and investors will sit pat for awhile to see how the new rules and regulations that the Bush-43 administration has started, and the BHO's administration will undoubtedly continue and probably make permanent impact the so-called US free-markets.

 

BHO is walking a tight-rope and he is beginning to understand it. With control of the White House and Capital Hill in his hands, we, the members of the disloyal opposition, will point out every mistake and stumble he makes.

 

It goes with the territory: welcome to the world of power, BHO.

 

Republicans are terminally stupid

While the liberal/Democrats suffer from hypocrisy and pseudo-intellectual snobbery, the conservative/Republicans suffer from just plain stupidity. When are the latter going to figure out that the reason they have lost the last 2 elections in ever increasing numbers is that they have:

 

       ABANDONED THEIR CORE VALUES AND ETHICS!

 

Regardless of liberal or conservative, Democrat or Republican, when a political operation stops being true to their base on core values and their brand of ethics, their base will abandon them like last week's left-overs.

 

The Republicans can't simply rebuild their party, they have to let it die and then bury it so deep that it can't come back from the dead. The Republican party of Reagan has been killed by the likes of Newt Gingrich, Bush-41, Bush-43, Jack Abramoff, Ted Stevens, Karl Rove, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dick Cheney, Tom Delay, and many others.

 

This blogger does not make excuses for conservative/Republicans that can't keep the stuff where it belongs, keep the hands off public money, or just do stupid things. It doesn't accomplish anything to ignore the ills of one's own house while trying to stop the sickness in others.

 

The Republican party needs to go away, and reformers with actual track records like Governors Palin and Jentry need to step up and start the new conservative party or the Republicans will continue to lose, lose, lose.

 

Liberal hyocrisy and supposed intelligence

My last post brings something I have been wanting to blog about for quite a while and that's this concept that liberal/Democrat hypocrisy is somehow ok since their motives are noble, or that the "ends justify the means."

 

When I speak with  my liberal acquaintances and family members, yes, I have liberal/Democrat family members, it is the topic that I usually get back to since it such an easy issue to raise for which they have to either try and make a silly argument to cover for the hypocrisy, or they attempt to justify the behavior by pointing to someone else's hypocritical behavior: the "everyone is doing" argument from childhood.

 

Liberal/Democratic hypocrisy is going to be one of the major topics of this blog since it something that contradicts the assertion that liberal/Democratic politicians are more intellectual than conservatives. When liberal/Democratic supporters can't find something substantive or advantageous about the idols of their affection, they fall back on the bulwark of intelligence of their idols over the conservatives.

 

This was/is especially true when I speak with them about Gov. Sarah Palin during her unsuccessful campaign for US Vice President. Without stating any major facts other then Palin's poor showing on some interviews, they poke fun at her since she is obviously stupid because the media says she is.

 

I then simply ask them, "What has BHO done that is so noteworthy?" Now that BHO has become the new President-elect, you have to give him credit for running a very successful campaign, but it still doesn't answer the original question: what has BHO done that is so noteworthy? When they can't answer the pressed question for the 2nd or 3rd time, they fall back on BHO's supposed native intelligence.

 

This blog has shown that BHO has shown many instances of a lack of intelligence or simply lying which to me is a sign of lower intelligence since in today's 7/24 media and Internet services, it is almost impossible to get away with lying. So to do so means that you aren't thinking right or you are just mentally-weak.

 

To answer which is more important between intelligence or accomplishments, I ask you one question:

 

Would you rather have a doctor that has successfully accomplished the surgery you are about to undergo, or a doctor that is natively intelligent, but hasn't done the surgery yet?

 

Actions always speak louder than just words, and BHO has shown that he is a great speaker and teleprompter reader, but when asked to speak off the cuff or asked questions he has not been "prep'd" for, he usually does what most people do and that is "he sticks his foot in his mouth." (Example: Joe the Plumber's "share the wealth" response that almost dumped his campaign).

 

Intelligence without common sense gets you the sizzle, but rarely the substance.

 

 

Liberal left hypocrisy over renewable energy - wind!

OK when are the elite liberal/Democrats going to realize that in an era of 7/24 media that they can't get away with being hypocritical without taking it on the chin? Or is it that they just don't care that they are hypocritical? After all, they are the elite: the elite intellectually, the elite financially, the elite politically, the elite, well you get the idea.

 

It's do as I tell you to do, not that I have to do it as well. It has been like this ever since the Kennedy's of the Grandfather Joe era found out that if they say they are for the "little guy" then they will be able to do what they want with impunity.

 

Like what? How about fly their private jets while telling everyone else to quit driving their SUVs? (Robert Kennedy, Jr) Like driving 4-5 car caravans while telling everyone else to walk (Barbara Streisand). Like giving a speech where you tell everyone to ride a bike to work while your line of SUVs idle for over 30 minutes with the AC on so you and your family can get into a nice cool vehicle (Al Gore). Like telling everyone to conserve electrical energy at home while they run enough power for 25 homes (John Edwards at his NC compound).

 

At least conservatives don't tell people one thing and do another. We like our energy usage, we like the lifestyle it brings, and we are for drilling, conserving, alternatives, etc. I say do it all.

 

Now the height of hypocrisy come from the very person BHO is thinking of tapping for the post of head of the EPA, Robert Kennedy, Jr. While giving lip service to renewable energy sources, RFK, Jr, and his uncle, the powerful Senator Ted Kennedy (MA-D) are secretly trying to block the country's first off-shore wind power farm near their Nantucket compound.

 

You followers of liberal/Democratic dogma, they really make it too easy to throw mud in your eye. You now have to try and spin this so as to make the Kennedy's look good all the while they are blocking free, renewable energy that would provide enough power for over 75% of the surrounding Nantucket area.

 

This is what you can expect form the liberal/Democratic elite:

• DO AS I TELL YOU TO DO, BUT DON'T EXPECT ME TO DO IT TOO!

The hypocritical watch phrase of the pseudo-intellectual sobs of the liberal left. Welcome to BHO's world.

 

BHO to use executive powers extensively

The use of executive fiat is already being extended by the BHO transition team as a way that BHO will get things done without having to wait for Congress or to do things that he can take full credit for doing. The items that the BHO OOPE (pronounced Oh pee, Office of the President-Elect) is saying he might use his executive pen to accomplish are:

1. Pro-union measures inside the US government
2. Re-install the executive ban on OSD (off-shore drilling)
3. Decrease military restrictions on gays/lesbians serving
4. Remove ban on stem cell research to allow unrestricted testing

 

The list could grow as BHO finds that he can do more without having to wait for Congress to get done talking, or to agree to his agenda items.

 

And the beat goes on...

 

 

 

The Anti-BHO Revolution begins today!

To all liberal/Democrats of the BHO mania:

 

I am declaring that I am now officially becoming a small part of the disloyal opposition towards BHO. While I show the office of the Presidency respect, the future occupant after Jan 20, 2009 will not have any of my respect or loyalty since I believe that BHO is not a President that I can support or even admit that he is my President. BHO is the President-elect of the those that suffer from a lack of clear thinking or Bush-hatred to the point that they don't care that their new President could not even pass an FBI background check if he was the President-elect who gets a pass since he won the election.

 

In BHO we don't have the Manchurian candidate, we have the ACORN candidate. BHO's associations still smack of socialistic ties, and his campaign funding still leaves much in the way of illegal tracking since millions and millions were made by untraceable cash cards. Why does BHO not show the identification of donors under $200? What is he afraid of?

 

Speaking of fear, I still have questions to ask of BHO which it appears he is afraid to answer:

1. Why you afraid of your association with Ayers and Wright?

2. Why are you afraid of releasing your Harvard Law School papers and writings?

3. Why are you afraid of releasing your association with ACORN?

It would appear that someone of principled-ethics, you would be willing to stand up for your beliefs and friends regardless of who might object and argue of their appropriateness. Isn't BHO a Harvard Law School trained lawyer, and isn't he touted as the most intelligent politician to come along in a long time? If these are true, why he is such a "girly-man" when it comes to answering his critics?

 

A man of conviction, ethics, and character would stand up for his friends, beliefs, and writings. All during the campaign, all we saw was BHO running form this, running from that, disallowing this, and disavowing that. These are not the actions of someone that knows what he believes, and is stalwart towards those beliefs. It smacks of someone that is afraid or dare we say, cowardly?

 

I real man stands up for his associations and beliefs; a weak man or politician simply doesn't. You make up your own mind about BHO.

 

I already have due to his own actions.

 

Long live the revolution! The underground begins today. Resistance is NOT futile!

 

 

BHO declared as the JFK hier to Camelot

Before BHO has even set foot in the White House as the 44st President of the US, he is being anointed as the heir to the JFK fairytale of "camelot" by JFK's relatives: Ted and Caroline Kennedy, the UK Telegraph, and Germany media.

 

Unbelievable that before he has even taken the oath of office, BHO is now the black JFK and will bring the allure of Camelot back to the White House. This BHO mania is getting so bad its making our job as the not-so-loyal opposition too easy to say the least.

 

The Obamians (as I like to call them) have simply gone absolutely mental. BHO will save the US from the financial crisis; BHO will save the world from global warming; BHO will cure cancer; BHO will bring peace to the middle east; BHO will usher in the 1000 years of peace and tranquility.

 

Boy! I sure wouldn't want to be BHO with these expectations. What the liberal/Democrats don't understand is that they setting BHO up for failure. When it turns out that he is mortal, can't solve the financial crisis, solve global warming, or bring peace to the middle east, he is going to be fodder for the media.

 

Yes, the media will turn on BHO just like they turned on Bill Clinton once it was shown that he had feet of clay. The media can be counted on to get bored being the cheerleader for anyone, and they will begin to find and report things that show BHO is just another politician: that he tells you what you want to hear for his advantage, he cares more for his future that yours, and that he can be counted on to what is in his best interest not the country's.

 

Maybe BHO will surprise us by being a statesman and not politician, but I bet not. He has already shown that politics is very important with his first appointment of the partisan bully, Rahm Emanuel, as his chief of staff. Not a very good sign that BHO will care much for bipartisan efforts.

 

BHO and team are part of the problem not solution

Alright, talking about BHO and how he is going to change the USA into the USSA is becoming boring and too easy a topic since BHO's actions already are clearly showing that he is going to implement his agenda regardless of the current financial crisis.

 

His lineup of financial giants behind him on his Friday economic press conference shows that he doesn't have a clue about how to fix the crisis. All those on the platform behind him were from the school that brought the crisis upon us with maybe the exception of big-time BHO contributor: Eric Schmidt, CEO, Google. I am not sure why he is there since he is a techie and has very little training in public finance, ethics or Wall Street operations.

 

The others while they do have all this training, experience, and supposed intelligence all come from the government (Carter, and Clinton administrations) and Wall Street that didn't see this coming. Is this intelligence for change?

 

Where are the people that were calling for action on this problem before it happened, the Wall Street and government types who's voices where drowned out by the financial and political bureaucrats that were giving and taking money to keep oversight from the failed GSE's and the oversight into the CDS?

 

I am speaking of people like Dr. John Rutledge, for one, who is not a partisan, but understand finances and markets, or Billionaire Ross Wilbur who has given specific ideas on how to get out of the mortgage WITHOUT $1 of government money, or Bill Fleckenstein, of Fleckenstein Capital, who called for Fannie and Freddie oversight and investigations in 2004-2005.

 

None of these people were behind BHO since they did not contribute to his campaign or "stroke his ego." BHO is showing that his administration will be just another politics as usual: position for money, payback for contributions.

 

I don't believe BHO will solve this crisis any more than FDR did in 1932. You can't solve a financial problem caused by political meddling by more political meddling. The reasons for the crisis have already been discussed in this blog.

BHO talks more about his new dog than economy

BHO spent more time at his first press conference discussing the dog he will be getting his family than how will try and fix the economy. Not a very good showing for the first press conference of "the one."

Also, he said that the first priority of his administration will be the passage of another stimulus package that most economists think do not work. The first $160 Billion USD stimulus package, borrowed from mostly Chinese banks (the Chinese government), simply helped out China more than it did the US.

BHO did nothing to calm the markets in that he did not give any more specifics about what his administration is going to do to create jobs (a function that no government has been able to do unless they are government jobs), how he is going to ease the credit crisis (getting banks to lend the over $400 Billion USD they have accepted from the Treasury), or how he is going to increase confidence in the financial systems.

The markets lost over 5% this week even after the election day rally gave way to the largest post-election dump in history. Not a very good showing, BHO.

Obama mania goes nuts!

The BHO hysteria is getting way out of hand it would seem. The LA street artist, Shepard Fairey who created the BHO "hope seal" can be seen creating 3rd world dictator-style BHO artwork that would make even the President of Iran jealous.

 

His website, obeygiant.com, shows a large red/blue "artsy characterization" of BHO looking like the posters of the Iran, North Korean, and Chinese state parades where the leaders were stylized looking up to the future. It was kind of eerie. I would swear that I was looking at one of the many little African nation's poster of their dictator that would hoisted up over a crowd of adoring citizens.

 

Very scary and somewhat freaky. Have we created the same level of Obama mania?

 

 

Financial crisis will not stop BHO & his agenda

What can people do that did not vote for nor like the current President-elect's proposed agenda? Is there anyway that traditional, conservative Americans can stop, delay, influence the manner in which the BHO and his Congress are saying they are going to take the country?

 

Well, I will tell you...

 

NOPE! We are screwed since until the 2010 elections, the White House and the Congress are in the hands of extreme liberals with a socialistic agenda. By that time, between the White House and Congress aided by an impotent Republican Party of misfits and cretins, this country will be taken down a road that may not be salvageable.

 

The country has voted to put a liberal/socialist in the White House and give him the support of an extremely liberal Congress which some conservative talk show hosts and financial talking heads say he will not be able to satisfy due to the current financial crisis.

 

Well, how wrong they are? BHO and his Congress will not let something like a crisis of money stop them in their planned agenda of installing politically active jurists in the 44 vacant Article III (that's Article III of the US Constitution) courts so that the appointees will sway the balance of power in these key judicial positions.

 

Next, the BHO and his Congress will do the following in their first 100 days:

• approve another "stimulus package" of $100-160 Billion USD
• hike the minimum wage to over $7.50 now
• extend unemployment benefits to a FULL YEAR
• allow the Bush-43 tax cuts to expire resulting in a tax hike on 43 million American families
• set time table for Iraqi theater US troops thereby telegraphing our intentions to the enemy
• pass "card-check" pro-union legislation to eliminate voting by secret ballot
• enact "cap and trade" legislation to hamstring the energy industry
• start Bush administration members investigations
• raise the capital gains tax to 20% and income tax brackets to 39% to begin in 2010
• increase financial system regulation and oversight which will be used to put social engineering agendas later on

 

These will be just some of the agenda items pushed by the BHO and his Congress in order to payback his supporters. The current financial crisis will not stop or deter BHO from his agenda, he has too many campaign promises to fulfill. The moderate Republicans and financial talking heads are simply WRONG.

 

An open letter to the Children of Gov. Palin

To the children of Gov. Sarah Palin:

 

In the future when you read about your mother's run for the office of the Vice President of the United States in your history books, do not believe what is written since it will probably be written by those that were jealous of what your mother has done as Mayor and Governor.

 

Your mother is truly one of a kind woman that loved her country enough to take on the job of fighting for an underdog candidate during the 2008 Presidential election. She could have stayed in Alaska where she was very popular, but she thought that her country needed a choice of leaders. Your mother believes that people need to be given chances to succeed by working hard, not given things they didn't work for since you know that when you work for something on your own, you feel better about yourself. It makes you want to do more things that are bigger and better. This is the American spirit that has made our country such a wonderful place that people want come and live here.

 

Your mother has done things that others do not like so they have said many bad things, hurtful things, and things that aren't true. However, your mother is a strong, loving, and smart woman that cleaned up the State of Alaska; she stopped politicians from spending other people's money without their permission, and got very large corporations to be truthful about what they do. She did this when many people told her that it could not be done; she showed them that one person can and does make a difference.

 

By doing these good things, many people in the lower 48 did not like her and said that she was dumb, backward, and not cool. Well, don't believe what they say since when people say things about others like this, it is usually because they are afraid or jealous of the person they don't like. They couldn't find anything wrong with what your mother did as Mayor or Governor so they say things about her that aren't true to try and hurt her. You should feel sorry for people like this because they are very angry about your mother being so successful and good.

 

Please know that your mother has done more to make the state of Alaska a better place to live in than almost any other Governor in recent times. She said it was wrong for some people in Alaska to say and do things that hurt others while they stole Alaskans' money that wasn't theirs. She put an end to these bad things, and she gave most Alaskans a state they can be proud of rather than be embarrassed by all the bad things these men were doing.

 

You can be proud of your mother regardless of what you may read in the history books of your school or in the newspaper or hear on the TV. She is a wonderful, kind, and loving mother that is also able to be a very good Governor. Doing all this makes some people and other women very jealous and angry towards her. This is why they don't like her, but there are many more people that think your mother is a great woman that you and other children can look up to and see her as a hero.

 

We are happy that your mother did not get elected to the job in Washington since Alaska is a much better place with her as its Governor. Be glad that you got to go back home and live with your mom without all the nonsense of Washington DC. We will miss her, but we are glad that she is there in Alaska were they deserve her brand of strength, character, and honesty. Your mom is what is great about Alaska. We are very proud of your mom, and our warmest wishes for a happy life go with all of you Palins. You showed us all that the American spirit is still alive and well at least in the great state of Alaska.
