VP Debate Results

OK now that's over and everyone is claiming victory, what do we make of it? Both sides are going to be waiting for the tracking polls to see if their side gets a bounce, and the rest of us normal people, not politicos, not belt-way mongers, not celebrities, know that the real winner wasn't America. In neither participant did I see someone that will put the best interests of America first.

Both were more interested in saying the right thing, or in Senator Biden's side, not saying the wrong thing. The VP candidates both said that they were the right people for the job, but failed to show how they would protect the American taxpayer since both the top ticket candidates voted for the EERA 2008 in the Senate. McCain particularly lost his "no-pork" position when he voted for the bill showing that when running for higher office, one's principles can be and usually are comprised.

Gov. Palin had a chance to show that she was against the pork-laden bill, but either was forced to take McCain's position showing that McCain can't handle opposition voices in his campaign or she also supports the ill-conceived HR 1424. He already know that Obama/Biden haven't met a big-government intrusion they didn't like.

Trust me, the market's in the US are going to be forever changed, and the losses in the market are going to show that over the next few weeks. This bill does nothing to restore the confidence that the fear-mongers from Capital Hill and Wall Street screamed at the top of their lungs. You shout long enough, the same message, and silence anyone else from saying anything different like Liz Claman on FBN does (she is visibly for it and did everything to talk it up), and you will get the results you are looking for from your audience. (See the Nazi's understanding of propaganda activities).

Neil Cavuto, unfortunately and usually a calm, cool head, also is running around saying the "sky is falling." Unbelievable. The markets will sell-off if the bills fails since the bill is mainly a bail-out of Wall Street idiots (read that investment banks and hedge funds) and those that have allowed them to do what they did to put us in this position.

America is doomed as soon as the US Government socializes its financial markets.
