Well it has happened! With the urging of all the Wall Street losers and cheaters, the financial media like FBN and CNBC (that should tell FBN something), and the politicos in WDC, the Senate passed the biggest step towards socializing America ever done by the US Government. The people have now given over the last bastion of freedom to their government because they were scared into it.
Franklin's warning about security and freedom was never more needed today as the USA ceased to be a free-market capitalistic environment with the passage of the EESA of 2008 (H.R. 1424) by the US Senate . Now under the US Constitution everyone with debts and financial problems can expect to be bailed out (Look up Equal Protection under the 14th Amendment and the Commerce Clause of Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3). We can all send our financial woes to Washington.
Woe is the USA, the last guardian of free enterprise taken down by fear, greed, and lazy thinking.
