My last post on the 2008 election

As my last election 2008 post, I would like to say to all those that didn't get what they wanted from this election:

GET OVER IT!

Yes, the country will go in the wrong direction towards a more socialistic government, but that's the way the voters said they wanted it to go. So you will just have to live with it, or leave.

Taxes are going to go up, small businesses will lay off, and at the end of BHO's first 4 years, we will have huge unemployment, massive government give-aways that you have admit started under the last term of Bush-43. We will have nationalized health care and retirement systems. The government will have made major in-roads into reducing free-speech with the re-enactment of the "Fairness Doctrine." At least the recent Supreme Court decision on gun control dealing with the Washington DC hand gun ban will take a bit longer to unravel by the liberals, but its coming.

The USA will slowly move towards the USSA, but that's what the voters wanted. When it begins to happen, I will be sure to blog about here since it may one of the last places of true free speech.

I don't dislike BHO, just his inexperience, naiveté and lack of solutions as given by his big use of platitudes not details during the campaign. If he implements or allows his cohorts in the Congress (Reid/Pelosi/Frank) to do what they want, it will all come down our ears since they will tax small business into reducing employment, they will drive capital out of the USA and nationalize more areas of society.

Republicans/Conservative: you are NOT off the hook since it was the Bush-43 administration that nationalized the financial system via their 4 horsemen of the financial apocalypse (Greenspan, Paulson, Bernanke, and Cox) that let this crisis get really going with the help of Dems: Dodd, Frank, and BHO. It will be history that will lay this rousing defeat at the doorstep of Bush-43 as he will be known as the destroyer of the modern day Republican Party.

Democrats: don't get smug since you now have to bear all the weight of what happens from now on. You blamed Bush-43 from the day he took office for all the things that Clinton did, so you now have to take the same medicine. Everything from now on is BHO's fault and yours.

Finale: done with election 2008.

Yay, Republicans get a talking-to! Thanks for the support, dad :). We all know what you really want is to be a member of the Alaskan Independence Party anyway. That way you can laugh at our USSA from afar as our country is demolished and identical little industrial collectives are set up in neat squares across the formerly-fruited plain.

I'll do my best to be humble, but I cannot lie and say I'm not totally ecstatic about having a gov't I actually agree with. It is indeed a nice change.

I'm going to work on a longer, more cohesive thought on my own blog. Sorry I've been so absent...writing this stuff down takes remarkable energy!

Yuk it up, my daughter ;-) I WAS a card carrying member of the AIP until they re-elected the Republican loser Ted Stevens. Regardless of the party, I have real problems with those in a position of power and then abuse that power:

Ted Stevens (AK-R)
Newt Gingrich (GA-R), former House Speaker
Bill Clinton (AR-D), former President
Jim Wright (TX-D) former House Speaker

and on and on. It is not a party I am tied to, just to one's demonstrated proclivities towards personal self-determination versus state determination which I believe this new government will favor.

BHO's training, education, writings, and associations all point towards his feelings that government is more important than the individual. Government can and should right all wrongs via legislative and if that path is blocked, via activist jurists.

I believe that its been self-determination, self-responsibility, self-control, and self-resiliency upon which this country was built, but is no longer taught to most our young as evidence by those that would rather take hand-outs then hand-ups.

Remember Edison's previous discussed quotation about why most people miss opportunity -- it masquerades as hard work.

Socialism and all other forms of collectivism including "it takes a village-ism" are all doomed to fail as history has shown for one simple reason: they don't empower the individual, they empower the state.

With all its faults, capitalism is the only form of financial formation that empowers the individual. Government's role should be that of referee not participant as the Bush-43 and BHO administrations believe.

Republicans and Democrats alike have taken this country towards socialism and that is why I think that "America CAN'T be fixed." We no longer have the will, character, or work ethic to do so.

Good comment, daughter, keep them coming. I look forward reading more on your blog. Your writings are very sophisticated and poignant.
