More and more Democrats that helped to block the increased scrutiny of the now failed GSE's are coming into the public eye as even the USPS (US Postal Service) is beginning its own internal investigation about its own Postmaster General John Potter supposedly receiving a Dodd-like sweetheart deal from the failed mortgage lender, Countrywide.
These follow on the heels of the Democratic-headed Congress' failure to investigate their own in the persons of Senator Chris Dodd (CT-D) and Senator Kent Concord (ND-D) both heading mortgage oversight positions in the US Senate committee structures. The Congress appears does not want to know if these Senators were recipients of such sweetheart deals to keep the heat off Countrywide Financial.
Countrywide VIP loan officer, Robert Feinberg, says that it was his job to make sure all his VIP clients were fully aware that they were receiving preferential treatment. This is very interesting since both Dodd and Conrad were/are in positions of oversight for commercial financial institutes and thus receiving sweetheart deals, well, you draw your own conclusions on why the Democratically-held Congress does not want hearings on this matter.
Again, here is "Change we need", "Change we can believe in", "Change we can trust" and all that nonsense.
Folks, you voted for BHO and now you have to live with the same old politics and corruption. Its just now going to be from the south-side of Chicago. ;-)
